Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a safe and highly effective way of removing benign lesions on the skin.
Cryotherapy will remove skin tags, to treating verrucas and warts, cryotherapy harnesses the power of extremely cold temperatures to accurately and comfortably tackle stubborn conditions.
Our highly skilled practitioners are thoroughly trained to use the CryoPen – an innovative, state-of-the-art instrument to reduce and eliminate abnormal skin growths. The CryoPen produces a very fine freezing jet that our practitioners use to target problem areas, exposing them to sub-zero temperatures to remove or reduce the lesion. The precise instrument allows us to accurately affect the abnormality, without damaging the surrounding healthy tissue.
The procedure is completely pain-free, and so we can safely perform cryotherapy treatments on children with appropriate skin conditions. Specific requirements will be discussed at your initial consultation, but we usually find that the treatment is most effective when performed 2-3 times over one week. Sessions can last between a couple of minutes and an hour, depending on the scale of your condition. Once your cryotherapy plan has been completed, the affected area will blister and fall off 7-10 days after treatment. This process is completely safe, natural, and entirely painless.

Testimonials
What our patients say...
I visited Katrina Tootell Aesthetics as my skin was dry and dull and I noticed lines and wrinkles appearing almost daily.
The clinic was warm and bright and the service was wonderful, I even had fun which I didn’t expect when talking about wrinkles. Katrina’s knowledge about skin and the advice she gave me was excellent. I purchased her skin care range and I can say I am loving it and certainly seeing a difference to my skin. I will be a regular.
Sophie, Easingwold
I booked an appointment with Katrina Tootell Aesthetic to address my forehead lines.
The nurse that treated me was professional and extremely knowledgeable, I am so happy with the result and have recommended the clinic to my friends. The clinic is perfectly located in the center of Easingwold and I parked right outside, so once I had my treatment I jumped in my car, it’s a perfect place for discrete treatment.
