Skin Tightening

Skin Tightening is the most versatile temperature controlled radiofrequency micro needling technology on the market.  It can treat a wide variety of skin concerns, such as skin laxity on the face and body, active acne, and stubborn fat pockets. Full skin consultation will be required to assess a patients need and excepted result from this treatment.

For the first 24 hours you should keep your skin protected according to your medical practitioners instructions, but after that you should be able to go about your normal activities. After the first 24 hours you can apply a mineral make up. Some redness and swelling can appear after a few hours of your treatment, and may persist for 1-2 days. 

Generally with laxity and skin texture, you will notice immediate tightening and improvement over 5 days followed by gradual improvement that becomes more noticeable after 3 months and continues to improve over 6 months.  

For acne a series of 4 treatments are necessary and you will notice improvement after the first two with most evident improvement over a six month period.  This is similar for Excessive sweating since both treatments involve changing function of either the sebaceous glands or sweat glands.

Morpheus8  induces a permanent improvement in skin laxity and subdermal fat remodelling however, the effects of age continue. We lose 1% of our collagen every year at a minimum and even more when we cannot or do not invest in medical grade skincare, sunscreen or preventive treatments.  Skin Tightening a great way to reset the clock and one yearly treatment will be something most patients choose to continue with.

The best results are achieved with a series of treatments. The number of treatments can vary between 3-6 depending on your specific needs and aesthetic goals.  Acne will require 4 sessions and dermal lifting will require 3.
