Profhilo is an injectable skin-remodelling treatment for skin that is lacking in elasticity and firmness. It can be used on the face, neck and décolletage to deliver anti-ageing, skin rejuvenating and lifting results.
A revolutionary beneath-the-skin moisturising treatment using hyaluronic acid made with patented technology. One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, it is a different consistency to dermal fillers, acting as a bio- revitalisation hydrator.
Superficial injections of Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin as this takes effect over the next few weeks skin is naturally rejuvenated, improving in tone and texture, hydrates, restoring skins elasticity and firmness, reducing the appearance of fine lines and with a visible ‘lifting’ effect.
Suitable for men and women, It can be used in face, neck, hands, chest and the body. A series of 2-3 treatments is initially required at 4 weekly intervals, which can be maintained longer term.
Maintenance is advised every 3-6 months, this may differ depending on the clients facial needs.
The areas of treatment include arms, knees and abdomen to help with skin laxity.

PAINFUL?
The medical practitioner team at Katrina Tootell takes great care when applying injectable treatments and are very concerned with ensuring our patients remain comfortable and relaxed.. The injections are administered with very fine needles, for your comfort and a topical numbing can be requested if you feel that this is needed.
SIDE EFFECT
Our medical practitioner will ensure that we discus all side effects and risks as part of the consultation process. You will be made aware of common side effects, including: redness, swelling and small bumps on the skin (where the needle has penetrated the skin). Other, less common effects, including: infection, temporary numbness and poor healing, will also be discussed.
DOWNTIME
As with many other injectable treatments, within the clinic the downtime that can be expected is very minimal. The effects of sensitivity usually disappear over the course of several hours and do not often affect the normal activities that you carry out during the day. Our medical team will ensure you are given appropriate aftercare instructions to enable the results to be effective.
